Made for how your family actually works.
The Day in Steps makes printable and digital tools for autistic and ADHD households. Everything we sell is built around one idea: predictability. Not perfect days — real ones. The mornings that start sideways, the homework hour that needs a plan, the school year that begins with a building full of unknowns.
Why these exist
Most printables are either babyish, clinical, or built for kids who don't need them. Ours are built for the kids who do — and for the parents, grandparents, and caregivers holding the whole day in their heads.
Every tool follows the same rules:
- Predictability, not sameness. Routines kids can see coming, with room for real life.
- No shame built in. No streaks to break, no empty pages that feel like evidence against you.
- Original artwork, honest language. Identity-first, neurodiversity-affirming, and written like a person talks.
- Built to survive a real house. One payment, no subscription. Print in color or black and white, as many times as your household needs.
Who makes these
The Day in Steps is a Pilon Qubit Ventures company, based in San Antonio, Texas. We're a small team that designs practical tools for special-needs families — and we're building toward bilingual English/Spanish versions of everything we make, because every family deserves tools in their own language.
What these are not
Our products are educational tools, not therapy, medical advice, or a substitute for your child's care team. They're designed to be used alongside the professionals who know your child — not instead of them.
